Longtime Baton Rouge business plans to bring showroom and inventory operations under one roof, improving convenience, selection and service for customers across the region.
BATON ROUGE, La. — Casual Creations, a locally owned outdoor living and furnishings retailer serving the Baton Rouge area for more than three decades, has purchased an 11,500-square-foot building off Airline Highway near Pecue Lane. The new location will bring the company's showroom and warehouse inventory together under one roof, creating a more convenient shopping experience for homeowners, interior designers and commercial clients throughout the region.
The investment marks a significant step forward for the family-owned business, which has built its reputation on quality outdoor furnishings, personalized service, product selection and timely delivery. The new location will provide more room to showcase outdoor furniture, grills, fireplaces and other outdoor living products while giving customers easier access to available inventory.
"We've always believed that taking care of our customers is what makes our business successful," said Rick Bucy, owner of Casual Creations. "This new location is an investment in that commitment. By bringing our showroom and inventory together, we can make shopping easier, offer better access to our products and continue growing with the communities we've proudly served for more than 30 years."
By consolidating showroom and warehouse operations, Casual Creations plans to streamline the shopping experience from product selection through delivery. Customers will be able to explore furnished displays, compare styles and materials, discuss customization options and work directly with the team to find products that fit their spaces and timelines.
Located near Airline Highway and Pecue Lane, the building will offer convenient access for customers traveling from Baton Rouge, Livingston Parish and Ascension Parish.
The new showroom is also expected to provide additional opportunities for local interior designers and commercial clients. Designers will have more room to meet with customers, coordinate selections and explore products for residential and commercial projects. The combined facility will also support corporate clients whose projects require coordinated furnishings and dependable delivery.
Beyond retail operations, Casual Creations plans to use the expanded space to host events and connect with the local design community. Details about future events and programming will be announced as plans develop.
The purchase reflects Casual Creations' continued commitment to serving the Baton Rouge region while building on the personal relationships and customer service that have defined the company for more than three decades.
Additional details about the new showroom and opening timeline will be announced as plans are finalized.
