However, in order to keep your Tuuci umbrella looking its best and functioning properly, it's important to take proper care of it. In this blog, we'll cover some tips for [caring for your Tuuci umbrella](https://www.casualcreationsbr.com/blog/patio-umbrellas-in-baton-rouge-enjoy-these-features-and-the-shade). **Clean Your Outdoor Umbrella Regularly** Regular cleaning is important to keep your Tuuci umbrella looking good and to prevent dirt and grime buildup that can damage the fabric. Use a soft-bristled brush or a sponge to gently clean the fabric with a solution of mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly with a hose and allow the umbrella to air dry completely before closing it. **Store Your Outdoor Umbrella When Not in Use** When your umbrella is not being used it's important to store it properly. If possible, remove the canopy and store it in a dry, cool place. If you can't remove the canopy, make sure to close the umbrella and secure it with a cover to protect it from the elements. **Take Your Umbrella Down in Severe Weather** While Tuuci umbrellas are designed to withstand the elements, they should still be protected from harsh weather conditions whenever possible. If there's a strong wind or storm in the forecast, it's best to close and secure the umbrella until the weather clears. **Inspect Your Tucci Umbrella’s Mechanical Performance** Before opening your [outdoor umbrella](https://www.casualcreationsbr.com/outdoor-umbrellas), it's important to check the mechanics to ensure everything is functioning properly. Make sure the canopy is properly secured to the frame and that the opening and closing mechanism is working smoothly.
